Acknowledged by the "camper" and "camper" agrees to the following conditions below:
By sender or replying to a text message to/from Piper’s Pines (0410 828 504) with:
1. Your name
2. Today's Date
3. Booking date
4. Number of nights
5. Preferable camping spot 1, 2 or 3
6. Piper's Pines, YES I agree with T & C's
7. Your driver's license
You acknowledge your understanding of these risks and agree to waive liability against Knight Bailey Pty Ltd As Trustee For Kelthorne Superannuation Fund ABN 81156484602 business registration T/A Pipers Pines, its employees, agents, and representatives for any harm or damages that may arise during your camping experience.
Potential Risks
1. Falling Trees and Branches
The campsite may be located near or under tall pine trees that could shed branches or fall due to wind, storms, or natural decay. These may hit you, your caravan or car.
2. Bushfires and Wildfires Camping areas may be in regions prone to bushfires or wildfires. Changing weather conditions can increase the likelihood of fire hazards.
3. Wildlife Encounters. Encounters with wild animals, insects, or reptiles may occur, potentially leading to injury, illness or death.
4. Weather-Related Hazards. Extreme weather conditions, including storms, strong winds, lightning, and flooding, may pose risks.
5. Rough Terrain and Physical Injuries. Uneven ground, rocks, slippery gravel or trails may result in trips, slips, or falls, causing injury.
6. Campfire and Cooking Hazards. Open flames or cooking equipment may lead to burns or accidental fires if not handled properly.
7. Limited Medical Assistance. Remote locations may limit immediate access to emergency medical services.
Participant Responsibilities
By participating in this camping activity, you agree to:
1. Exercise caution and follow all safety guidelines provided
2. Be aware of your surroundings and avoid hazardous areas. Bring appropriate clothing, footwear, and equipment for outdoor camping.
3. Monitor weather conditions and comply with evacuation orders if necessary.
Acknowledgment and Waiver
I, the undersigned (by text/mobile number), understand that outdoor camping involves inherent risks, some of which are unpredictable and unavoidable. I agree to assume all risks associated with this activity and hereby release Knight Bailey Pty Ltd T/A Pipers Pines and its staff, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from injuries, illnesses, property loss, or death arising from my participation in outdoor camping activities.
I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this document and agree to its terms. I voluntarily electronically sign this acknowledgment and waiver by returning the text message from myself (the Camper) to the land owner with my name and the words “Agree”.
