Welcome to Piper’s Pines

About us...

An exclusive camping experience with your well mannered prized pooch.

Escape to our small pine forest in the picturesque Southern Highlands of NSW.

Privately owned land by Titanium caravan owners, offered to their family and friends to enjoy.

We have travelled Australia in our van with our beautiful dog named Piper for 275 days, so we understand what private off grid camping is all about.  We enjoy being by ourselves and enjoying the serenity, yet we have made some good friendships with some fellow campers whom we have met along the road. And when staying overnight, we have enjoyed some good red around the camp fire with our new buddies.

Our land is located in Berrima just 5 minutes off the Sydney-Canberra freeway, and a short walk into the charming historical town. Perfect for grabbing a coffee or light lunch from an array of nice coffee houses, enjoying a meal at one of the three very smart local restaurants, or sitting under the umbrella at the local pub watching the passing parade.

Berrima is centrally located and offers an easy 10 minute drive to: Mittagong, Bowral & Moss Vale, 15 minutes to Exeter and Bundanoon, and about 25 minutes to the quaint village of Burrawang and a further 5 minutes to Robertson. You could also continue about 35 minutes drive from Robertson down the magnificent escarpment via either the pretty Jamberoo Valley Pass  (caravans not permitted), or Macquarie Pass (caravans permitted) for a day at the dog friendly section of the beach at Shell Cove, or to explore the beautiful South Coast area.

  • Piper's Pines is nestled among the tall pine trees, scattered in over 1 acre of private, fully-fenced land with lockable farm gates for your peace of mind. Perfect for relaxing in nature while feeling safe and secure.

  • Dog friendly.

  • Piper's Pines has only three spacious level sites available, each featuring its own private fire pit and sitting area. Easy drive-in, drive-through access - so no need to unhook your vehicle unless you want to.

  • Please note, at Piper's Pines there is no water, power or toilets provided onsite and we require that your RV or caravan is fully self-contained with a full bathroom on board.

Important points to consider...

Access to the village:

Whist enjoying Piper’s Pines there is also a pedestrian gate at the bottom of the block for a picturesque stroll into the quaint township of Berrima, and has lots to offer!

Bookings & Enquires:

Please call 0401 828 504

Camping RV Sites:

We offer a choice of three spacious near level camping sites for your fully self contained RV or caravan each featuring their own private fire pit and seating area.  Sorry we do not permit camping tents.

Car & Van access:

Easy car and small or large RV camper or van access. Our rig is a large one, 21.6 plus the draw bar and we found access to and from the three sites was very easy.  Please watch the three videos on this site that will give you an idea of the access as we have demonstrated it. Easy drive-in, drive-through access - so no need to unhitch from your vehicle unless you want to.

Cost & Payment:

We kindly request a $50 per night contribution, which goes entirely towards the upkeep of the land, ensuring it remains beautiful and accessible for all visitors. Payment is via direct bank deposit with the bank details text to you at the time of booking.

Facilities:

Please note that this camp spot is designed for self contained campers only such as us with a full bathroom on board, as there is no water, showers or toilets on site. For example we have a fully self contained van with its own water tanks and solar power and a full bathroom, so we arrive and leave with no trace.

Fire Regulations:

Please observe any local fire regulations that could be in force prior to lighting your camp fire.

Firewood:

You are welcome to use any small kindling from the land but please bring your own actual firewood.

Noise:

The land is fairly quiet and has lots of bird life, but dependant on the wind direction, if it is blowing from the west then you may hear some traffic noise either from the freeway which is about 3k's away or some local traffic from the road out the front.

People & Pets Welcome:

We are excited to welcome both our friends and their guests along with their well behaved pooch to our property. For your peace of mind, Piper's Pines is fully fenced on all four sides, so it's very safe for your cherished four legged friend, even for the smallest of escape artists' would find difficult to get out.

Respect for Tranquility:

We value our neighbours and we all enjoy the peaceful harmony of our surroundings. We please ask that you respect this and that no loud music is played, no screaming kids, no barking dogs or any other disruptive behaviour. If any of these noise issues occur then you will be asked to leave immediately and forfeit any monies paid. Our neighbours are lovely people and we all work together to respect each other’s peace and quiet.

Rubbish:

Please leave our pristine land as you find it and take all your rubbish with you, there is a local tip in

Moss Vale about 10 minutes away if you need it.

Wildlife, enjoy nature:

Be aware, that in a rural setting you may encounter snakes, spiders and ants, so please be aware especially in the summer months and take precautions.
